Sites

In the section Websites you can manage websites. A website can be understood as a location on the drive, which one or several domains or subdomains refer to.

Creating a website

To create a new website you need to indicate a directory where it shall be located. The website directory will be created respective the home directory. The directory name can consist of latin letters, digits and the following symbols: "-" (minus), "." (period) and the symbol "/" (slash) to indicate an enclosed directory.

To create a website you need to indicate a Site name and press Create. A directory with the website name will then be created, containing the directory public_html, where files for the website will need to be uploaded.

In some cases (when you need to upload some files, for example), you may need to find out the full path to the website directory. You can show full paths by clicking on an icon which is located above the table displaying a list of sites and linked domains.

Linking/delinking domains

In the same section you can link/delink Domains or Subdomains to/from websites. Select a website and press Connect domain . Then choose a free domain via which the website shall open.

This way one website can function on multiple domains/subdomains.

Next to each domain/subdomain you will find the button - it will delink the domain/subdomain from the website when clicked on, so that it can be linked to any other website on the account.

Manage websites

Below you will find a table of all websites on your account. The button Delete site is located next to each website. When clicked on, it will delete the website. Be careful: using this function incorrectly will impair the operation of your website. You will also find the button next to each website. Clicking on it you will open the load caused by this website.

Furthermore next to each website there is the button , clicking on which, you can select the necessary php version for this domain. This way each domain can be opened via several addresses, each of which needs an installed php version.
