BackUp

In section BackUp you can recover data or create its backup copy.

File recovery

To recover files from a backup you need to select a date available for recovery. Then select folders and/or files and press the recovery button . The selected data will be moved to your account and all files will be granted rights 700. The execution time depends on the data size. Upon recovery completion a confirmation notice will be sent to your administrative e-mail.

You will also find the following icon next to each file or directory.

Clicking on it you can archive the selected data and add them to your account root directory. The execution time depends on the data size. Upon recovery completion a confirmation notice will be sent to your administrative e-mail.

The values in the "Date modified" column contain file's last modified time (which also known as mtime). Using this data, you can determine when the file was last modified. If you need to restore the backup from a certain date, you should choose a copy based on the date the backup was created, but if you need to find a backup copy in which a certain file has not yet been changed, look at the date the file was changed.

Database recovery

Databases are recovered in a similar way. Go to the tab Databases, select a date, then select a database and press the appropriate button to add or to recover the database backup archive.

Archiving current data

Selecting Current state instead of a date, you will find only one button next to files, folders or databases. Pressing it you can add an archive created from current files or database to the root directory of your account.

Task history

You can monitor the backup recovery process in the tab Task history.
